Digital SAT Reading & Writing
Reading & Writing is two 27-question modules of 32 minutes, routed after Module 1. Drilled trains the same four College Board domains, with Easy left out of live practice.
The clock and the route
27 items in 32 minutes is a little over a minute each. The routing gate is about 18 correct. Conventions and transitions should be cheap so evidence and inference can take the leftover time.
Four domains
Information and Ideas (~26%), Craft and Structure (~28%), Expression of Ideas (~20%), Standard English Conventions (~26%). That mix is what a real module looks like — not a vocab quiz.
Questions
- Does Drilled include SAT English / Reading & Writing?
- Yes. Switch sections in the app. Routing, drills, notebook, and analytics all follow the RW taxonomy.
- Is this the same as the old SAT Writing section?
- No. Digital SAT Reading and Writing is one section with short blurbs and four domains. Grammar is still there (Boundaries; Form, Structure, and Sense) but it is not the whole test.
