Circles
Circles are equations, arcs, and sectors. The equation (x − h)² + (y − k)² = r² is a Desmos item if you let it be. Arc vs angle is the language trap.
What Bluebook is testing
S.D. is circle theorems and the coordinate equation: center, radius, arc length, sector area, inscribed vs central angles.
How it shows up
A circle on the coordinate plane, or a sector with a missing radius. Hard items mix a central angle in degrees with an arc-length formula that wants radians — the SAT stays in degrees and uses the fraction of 360.
A method that survives Module 2
Complete the square to read center and radius. Then graph in Desmos to confirm. Arc length = (θ/360) × 2πr. Sector area = (θ/360) × πr². Same fraction, different whole. A central angle equals its arc. An inscribed angle is half the arc.
