Digital SAT Module 2

Module 2 is not 'the second half of the test.' It is a different test, chosen by Module 1. The hard path is where 800 lives. The easy path is a softer mix with a ceiling.

Two modules, one fork

Math: 22 + 22, 35 minutes each. Reading & Writing: 27 + 27, 32 minutes each. After Module 1, Bluebook routes you. Drilled's full section sim does the same thing, then shows you the route on the break screen.

What 'hard Module 2' means here

Drilled's hard-path Math mix is 18 Hard / 4 Medium, still 8 Algebra / 8 Advanced / 3 PSDA / 3 Geo. The easy path is 15 Medium / 7 Hard — softer, still no Easy. Official forms vary. The idea does not: the hard module is heavier.

How to practice it

Do not use a full section every day. Use a Hard Module 2 module sim or a Module 2 Gauntlet when you already know you can route. Use Routing Pace when Module 1 is the leak. Mixing those two into one untimed grab-bag hides the problem.

Questions

Can I get 800 on the easy Module 2?
No. The easy path is capped well below 800 — around 650 on Drilled's published estimate curve. The exact official cap is College Board's, but the direction is not a secret.
Is Drilled's Module 2 harder than Bluebook?
Often, yes. We never serve Easy, and the hard mix is weighted to band 6–7. Scaled scores are estimates, not equated official scores. The point is to overshoot the real hard module, not to print a concordance.
